Terms of Service

These Terms of Service form a legal agreement between you and SkillFans. They govern your access to and use of the SkillFans website, public creator pages, account features, voting tools, Growth Points, unlock features, invite codes, task rewards, reporting tools, Creator Studio, upload workflows, review workflows, admin interfaces where applicable, and any related services that link to these Terms.

By visiting SkillFans, confirming the age gate, creating an account, signing in through email magic link or Google OAuth, voting, earning or using Growth Points, unlocking content, submitting a creator application, uploading metadata or media, submitting a report, or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and the policies linked from the site footer.

If you do not agree to these Terms, or if you are not legally allowed to access adult-oriented online services where you are located, you must not use SkillFans.

SkillFans is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old and who may lawfully access adult-oriented online services in their location. You may not use SkillFans if you are under 18, if you are legally barred from using the service, or if the service is unlawful where you are located.

You must not help a minor access SkillFans, create or operate an account for a minor, submit information for a minor, request content involving a minor, misrepresent your age, or use a false identity to bypass age or safety controls.

SkillFans may block access, suspend an account, remove content, preserve evidence, or take other protective action if it believes that age, identity, consent, safety, or legal-risk concerns exist.

SkillFans, we, us, or our

The SkillFans brand, website, product interfaces, operator workflows, and related services. Until a registered operating entity is published, public legal notices may be sent to the legal contact listed in these Terms.

User, you, or your

Any person who visits, browses, signs in to, votes on, reports, uploads to, administers, or otherwise uses SkillFans.

Creator

A profile, persona, or applicant presented through SkillFans. V0 is designed for AI virtual creators, not for a commercial human creator program.

AI virtual creator content

Synthetic, AI-generated, AI-assisted, edited, or virtual creator material that is clearly labeled and does not claim to be an unauthorized real person.

Growth Points or GP

In-product progress units used only inside SkillFans. GP are not money, stored value, securities, tokens, prizes, gift cards, or redeemable financial value.

Locked content

Reviewed content or metadata that may require a server-side unlock, permission check, or signed delivery URL before access is granted.

SkillFans V0 is a discovery, voting, and fan-engagement service for clearly labeled AI virtual creator content. The service may allow users to browse creator profiles, view approved preview content, vote within daily limits, earn Growth Points, complete tasks, use invite codes, track unlock progress, access eligible locked content, submit reports, and participate in creator or operator workflows where authorized.

The service is an evolving launch product. Features may be experimental, limited, changed, rebalanced, paused, removed, or replaced. SkillFans does not guarantee that any particular creator, asset, ranking, unlock threshold, task, reward rule, referral mechanic, or access path will remain available.

Some features require a SkillFans account. You may sign in using supported authentication methods, including email magic link and Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining control over your email account, OAuth account, browser session, devices, and any links or credentials used to access SkillFans.

You must provide accurate information when requested and must keep account access secure. You may not sell, rent, share, transfer, or operate an account for another person if doing so would violate these Terms or undermine safety, age, fraud, or moderation controls.

You must notify SkillFans promptly if you believe your account has been compromised, used without authorization, or used to access content in violation of these Terms.

Votes, Growth Points, unlock progress, invite codes, referral relationships, daily tasks, task claims, rankings, badges, streaks, and similar product mechanics exist only inside SkillFans. They are intended to create engagement and product progression, not financial value.

Growth Points are not money, stored value, credit, cryptocurrency, securities, commodities, rewards points redeemable for cash, or any form of property right. They may not be sold, transferred, assigned, exchanged, pledged, redeemed, withdrawn, or converted outside SkillFans unless SkillFans expressly states otherwise in writing.

SkillFans may calculate, grant, deny, adjust, expire, revoke, freeze, or delete votes, Growth Points, unlocks, tasks, invite codes, referrals, or related records when required by product rules, system integrity, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or correction of an error.

You may use SkillFans only for lawful purposes and only in a manner consistent with these Terms, the Content Policy, the Safety Center, and all applicable laws.

• Do not use automation, scripts, bots, fake accounts, coordinated behavior, proxy abuse, credential sharing, or technical workarounds to manipulate votes, rankings, Growth Points, unlocks, tasks, reports, referrals, or invite codes.
• Do not attempt to access locked content without permission, expose raw storage references, bypass signed URL controls, attack Supabase, Cloudflare R2, Vercel, Google OAuth, or related providers, or interfere with Row Level Security, admin roles, risk queues, or audit logs.
• Do not scrape, harvest, index, copy, redistribute, sell, leak, frame, mirror, or publicly repost content, metadata, reports, user information, or platform data except as expressly allowed by SkillFans.
• Do not upload, request, promote, link to, describe, or facilitate illegal content, minor-related sexual content, non-consensual sexual content, rights-infringing content, malware, spam, doxxing, harassment, trafficking, extortion, or content designed to evade review controls.
• Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your relationship with a creator, falsely claim rights in content, or submit reports or takedown notices in bad faith.

If you submit a creator application, profile, caption, tag, image, video, file metadata, AI workflow detail, report detail, review response, or other material, you are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, rights, permissions, and safety of that submission.

SkillFans V0 is built for AI virtual creator content. You must not present a synthetic or AI-assisted creator as a real person, imply participation by a real person without authorization, use a real person's likeness in a sexualized or misleading context without permission, or remove required AI labels.

You represent that you have all rights, permissions, licenses, consents, and authority needed to submit your content and to grant SkillFans the license described in these Terms. You also represent that your content does not violate the Content Policy, another person's privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, contract, or other rights, or any law.

SkillFans may review, classify, approve, reject, hide, remove, restrict, downrank, pause, restore, or otherwise moderate content before or after publication. Content may remain in draft, pending review, changes requested, live, rejected, suspended, or removed status depending on product rules and review decisions.

SkillFans may suspend or terminate accounts, pause or ban creators, freeze invite codes, revoke upload access, deny file delivery, revoke unlock access, preserve audit logs, or take other action when it believes content, behavior, account activity, or system use creates legal, safety, rights, fraud, security, or product-integrity risk.

Moderation decisions may be based on user reports, reviewer judgment, automated signals, safety requirements, legal obligations, provider requirements, platform rules, or evidence available to SkillFans at the time of review.

SkillFans and its licensors own the service, website, software, user interface, design system, brand, logos, trade dress, product mechanics, ranking systems, moderation workflows, database structure, documentation, and platform-generated materials, except for rights that users or third parties lawfully retain in submitted content.

You retain whatever rights you lawfully hold in content you submit. By submitting content or metadata to SkillFans, you grant SkillFans a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, transmit, adapt, resize, transcode, create previews from, moderate, analyze, preserve, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, market, enforce, and provide the service.

This license includes the right to use submitted content in public creator pages, feeds, previews, review queues, admin tools, safety workflows, support workflows, takedown workflows, backups, logs, and product surfaces related to SkillFans. The license continues as long as needed for operation, audit, legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or enforcement purposes.

SkillFans relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, database, storage, delivery, security, analytics, logging, email, and operational tooling. These providers may include Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare R2, Google OAuth, and similar services.

Your use of SkillFans may depend on the availability, performance, security, policies, and terms of these providers. SkillFans is not responsible for outages, provider limitations, provider account actions, or service changes outside SkillFans' reasonable control.

You may stop using SkillFans at any time. SkillFans may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access, account, creator profile, upload privileges, invite codes, Growth Points, unlocks, or other product features at any time when required by product rules, safety needs, legal obligations, security needs, fraud prevention, provider requirements, or violation of these Terms.

Account deletion or content removal may not immediately delete all records. SkillFans may retain records where necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, audit logs, safety investigations, fraud prevention, accounting, backups, enforcement, or protection of users and third parties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillFans is provided on an as is and as available basis. SkillFans disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, uninterrupted operation, and error-free operation.

SkillFans does not guarantee that any content is accurate, lawful, available, safe, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular user. SkillFans does not guarantee any vote outcome, ranking, unlock result, Growth Point balance, referral result, creator approval, upload approval, takedown outcome, or continued access to any feature.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillFans will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, loss of rankings, loss of Growth Points, loss of unlock access, business interruption, or substitute service costs, even if SkillFans has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillFans' total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid SkillFans for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event giving rise to liability or USD 100.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SkillFans and its operators, contractors, providers, licensors, reviewers, and representatives from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of SkillFans, your submitted content, your reports or takedown notices, your violation of these Terms or the Content Policy, your infringement or misappropriation of rights, your violation of law, or your misuse of accounts, votes, Growth Points, unlocks, uploads, or invite codes.

SkillFans has not yet published a specific court venue, arbitration forum, or governing-law clause for V0. If a dispute arises, the parties should first contact each other in good faith at the legal contact below and attempt to resolve the matter informally where appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer, privacy, copyright, data protection, safety, or statutory rights that apply to you. Where a mandatory law gives you rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights remain in effect.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

SkillFans may update these Terms as the product, legal requirements, providers, or operating model change. The updated date at the top of this page identifies the latest version. Your continued use of SkillFans after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms, except where additional notice or consent is required by law.
